May

In May, potatoes are planted and the spraying of crops continues, to protect them from pests and diseases, as their growth accelerates in the warmer weather.

All animals are growing fast and are turned out to grass.

The maize is planted in early May in preparation for our Summer Mega Maze event over the school summer holidays, and pumpkin seeds are planted ready for our Halloween Hoot event in October.
